Return & Refund Policy – Atelier de Rys

Atelier de Rys takes great pride in the craftsmanship of every piece. While each item is made with care, we understand there may be occasions where you wish to return your purchase.

This policy outlines your legal rights and our procedures for returns, refunds, and exchanges.


1. Your Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after:

  • The day you, or a third party nominated by you (other than the carrier), physically receive the goods; or

  • In the case of multiple goods in one order, the day you receive the last item.


2. How to Exercise Your Right
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us in a clear written statement before the withdrawal period expires.

You may use our model withdrawal form (available upon request), but it is not obligatory.


3. Return Conditions
Returned goods must be:

  • Unused and in their original condition.

  • Returned in the original packaging or equivalent protective packaging.

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.


4. Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Custom-made or bespoke items created to your specifications.

  • Goods that are clearly personalised.

  • Items that, for hygiene reasons, cannot be returned once opened or used.

If an item is faulty or damaged upon arrival, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt so we can arrange a repair, replacement, or refund.


5. Return Shipping
Unless the item is faulty, the cost of returning the goods is the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked and insured service, as you remain responsible for the goods until they are received by us.


6. Refunds
Once your return is inspected and approved, we will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

8. Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order within 12 hours of placing it by contacting us at info@atelierderys.com.

After this time, we may have already started production, especially for made-to-order or customised pieces, and cancellation may no longer be possible.

For bespoke or personalised orders, cancellation is not possible once production has begun.


9. A Note from the Atelier
Our commitment to slow, thoughtful craftsmanship means we do not carry stock — your piece exists because you asked for it.

We thank you for understanding the spirit of this policy, which helps us reduce waste, honour artisan time, and create with care.
