By accessing our website, placing an order, or engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree, please refrain from using our website or purchasing our products.

2. Our Craft Philosophy

Atelier de Rys is dedicated to creating artisan-made, handcrafted goods, many of which are made-to-order or personalized.
Due to the nature of craftsmanship:

  • Each product may vary slightly in colour, texture, or finish.

  • Such variations are not considered defects but a mark of authenticity.

3. Eligibility

To place an order with Atelier de Rys, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.

  • Provide accurate and complete personal and payment information.

  • Agree to these Terms & Conditions.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including cases of suspected fraud or misuse.

4. Order Acceptance & Contract Formation

Your order is accepted once we confirm it via email. Until then, we reserve the right to decline or cancel the order.
In the event of a pricing or availability error, we will notify you and provide the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel without charge.

5. Pricing, Payments & Taxes

  • All prices are in Euros (€) and include VAT where applicable.

  • Payments are processed securely via our approved payment providers.

  • For orders shipped outside the EU, you are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by your local authorities.

  • Prices may change without notice, but confirmed orders will not be affected.

6. Shipping & Delivery

We ship to the address provided at checkout.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to region, public holidays, customs, or external delays.
Once an order is handed to the carrier, risk of loss passes to you.
We are not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control.

7. Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days for non-customized items only.

  • Customized, made-to-order, or bespoke goods are final sale and non-returnable, in line with Dutch and EU consumer law exceptions.

  • Order cancellations may be requested within 12 hours of purchase. After this period, cancellations may not be possible if production has started.

8. Product Descriptions & Accuracy

We strive for accuracy in product descriptions, photographs, and specifications. However:

  • Slight variations may occur due to screen settings, lighting, or the natural characteristics of materials.

  • Atelier de Rys reserves the right to update product details at any time without prior notice.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content — including designs, photographs, text, logos, trademarks, product names, and layouts — is the property of Atelier de Rys and protected by copyright, trademark, and design laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
