The Passage is a luggage tag made for the bag you actually travel with — not the one that stays on the shelf. No plastic windows. No flimsy loops. Just full-grain leather, a secure strap closure, and a card slot for your contact details, held in place and built to last the distance.

Made by hand in Born, Netherlands. Full-grain vegetable-tanned leather sourced from Tempesti SPA in Tuscany — one of Europe's most respected tanneries. Hand saddle-stitched, edge-finished by hand. The strap closure is firm and reliable. Nothing comes loose.

A luggage tag is a small object. But it is also the one thing standing between your bag and a lost luggage desk. The Passage takes that seriously.

Personalization
Add your initials — or those of the person you are giving this to — embossed directly onto the reverse. The Atelier de Rys mark is carried on the front.

On full-grain vegetable-tanned leather
Full-grain leather carries the complete surface of the hide — its natural markings, its grain, its character. Vegetable tanning, the oldest and slowest method, means the leather develops a rich patina over time that synthetic leathers never can. It does not wear out. It wears in. The Passage will look better after ten trips than it did before the first.
