A valet tray made to last. Cut from Italian full-grain vegetable-tanned leather sourced from Tempesti SPA in Tuscany — one of Europe's most respected tanneries — and finished by hand in Born, Netherlands.

The interior panel is hand saddle-stitched and put in place, creating a surface that is both beautiful and structured. The brass rivets at each corner are set flush and firm. Nothing moves. Nothing shifts.
This is not a decorative object pretending to be useful. It is a useful object that happens to be beautiful.

Personalization
Add your initials — or those of the person you are giving this to — embossed directly onto the interior leather panel. The interior belongs to its owner. The Atelier de Rys mark is carried discreetly on the base.

On full-grain vegetable-tanned leather
Full-grain leather carries the complete surface of the hide — its natural markings, its grain, its character. Vegetable tanning, the oldest and slowest method, means the leather develops a rich patina over time that synthetic or chrome-tanned leathers never can. It does not wear out. It wears in. Over months and years, The Archivist will develop a character that belongs only to you.
