The Steward Coaster Set

Some surfaces deserve to be protected by something worth looking at. The Steward is a set of four round or 4 square leather coasters, each 10cm in diameter, made from double-layer full-grain leather with an internal stiffener for structure and weight.

Made by hand in our atelier in Born, Netherlands, from vegetable-tanned leather sourced from Tempesti SPA in Tuscany, Italy. Each coaster is cut, assembled, stitched, and edge-finished by hand. The leather is conditioned for increased moisture resistance and will develop a patina with daily use.

Available in three leather combinations:

— Nero & Marine: a mixed set of on one side Black and on the other side Blue Full Grain Italian Leather

Personalization with initials is available — one letter embossed on each coaster at checkout. Choose a single initial or four different ones for a set that tells its own story.

These coasters are made from natural vegetable-tanned leather. They will develop a patina with use — moisture from glasses will gradually darken and age the leather. This is an intentional character, not a defect. Each set becomes yours uniquely over time.
