Some wallets expand to fit everything. The Ledger is built for those who have decided that everything is too much.

Two card slots on each side. A cash pocket behind each one — enclosed, structured, and flat. Four cards and the notes you actually need. Nothing more. It sits in a front pocket without bulk and stays there without shifting. Over time it will soften exactly where you hold it, deepen at the edges, and take on the particular character of how it has been carried. A wallet like this does not wear out. It wears in.

Made by hand in our atelier in Born, Netherlands. Cut from full-grain vegetable-tanned leather sourced from Tempesti SPA in Tuscany — one of Europe's most respected tanneries — hand saddle-stitched with waxed thread, and finished by hand at every edge.

This is not a minimal wallet pretending to be refined. It is a refined wallet that happens to be minimal.

Personalisation
Add your initials — or those of the person you are giving this to — embossed directly onto the reverse or interior. To personalise, add your initials (up to 3 characters) in the notes at checkout. No additional cost. The Atelier de Rys mark is retained on the front.

On full-grain vegetable-tanned leather
Full-grain leather carries the complete surface of the hide — its natural markings, its grain, its character. Vegetable tanning, the oldest and slowest method, means the leather develops a rich patina over time that synthetic or chrome-tanned leathers never can. It does not wear out. It wears in. Over months and years, The Ledger will develop a character that belongs only to you.

The Ledger arrives in Atelier de Rys packaging, ready to give. A considered gift for a birthday, anniversary, Father's Day, or Christmas — for someone who values objects that are quietly excellent.

Each piece is made individually by hand. Small variations in grain and tone are part of what makes it yours.
